Who we are
RizqOregon (“we,” “us”) operates the directory at rizqoregon.com. We’re a small independent project focused on helping Oregonians find Muslim-owned businesses.
What we collect
Two categories of information:
- Information you give us — when you submit a business, sign up for an account, leave a review, or contact us, we collect the info you provide (name, email, phone, business details).
- Basic usage information — pages viewed, approximate location (from your IP), device type. We use this to understand what’s working and fix what isn’t.
What we do with it
- Show business listings publicly on the directory.
- Contact you to verify a business you submitted.
- Send account and booking notifications when relevant.
- Improve the site based on aggregate usage patterns.
What we don't do
- Sell your personal information.
- Share your info with advertisers.
- Track you across other websites (we don’t use ad trackers).
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We don’t use third-party advertising cookies.
Third parties we use
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Vercel — hosting.
- Resend (planned) — sending transactional email such as booking confirmations.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it at any time. Email hello@rizqoregon.com and we’ll handle it.
Kids
RizqOregon isn’t directed at children under 13. If you think a child gave us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change it in ways that matter, we’ll update the date at the top and, if you have an account, notify you.
